Summer is synonymous with fun-filled vacations and beach bumming. You can’t exactly point where or what but there always something about the summer season that makes one want to put on a sunny dress and join some free-spirited soiree. But the hot rays of the sun make it hard for ladies to wear makeup fit for bright days ahead. So here are some tips to achieve lids as cool as the ocean and skin bronzed hot like the sun.
A Perfect Base
Cleanse your skin using a toner and a moisturizer, then apply a primer using fingers. If you have good skin or you’re not a fan of foundations, you can use primers alone. Apply concealer to hide blemishes such as spots and dark under eye circles. Set this up with loose powder.
Prettify your Preppers
Using a golden beige eye shadow, draw a line on your upper lid and blend it downward to distribute the color. Create “flirty” wing at the tip of your lids, for beginners, this using an angled brush is the key to this. Finish up by curling your lashes and a swipe of mascara.
Emphasize Brows
Sweep brow power on your brows with light strokes. Imitate the growth of hair to achieve a more natural look. Brow pencil should also be sharpened before each use.
Bright and Rosy Cheeks
Pink and rosy color shows that you are healthy and ready to take the sun, sand and sky. Before applying blush, dust of some bronzer for that enviable dusky glow. If there is anything that you want to hide and for those that you want to illuminate, these are best done with rich dusting of bronzer. For many women, these areas are the sides of the forehead, underneath the cheekbones and along the jaw line. Coral blush on the apples of your cheek produces a lovely pop of color.
Nude Kissers
When wearing make up, women can choose whether to highlight the eyes or her lips. A hot summer look, you can easily choose to focus on the eyes by wearing subdued lip color. Nude pink applied straight from the tube gives out a natural finish while lip brush helps you achieve a more precise look.
